Manchester United are interested in signing Memphis Depay from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to . The report has claimed that Barcelona are willing to sell the forward and are looking for €15 million in transfer fees for the Netherlands international, whom they signed only last summer on a free transfer following his departure from Lyon at the end of last season.

Depay was on the books of Manchester United from 2015 until 2017 before he moved to Lyon. The Dutchman did not have the best of times at Old Trafford, but his growth and development since his exit has attracted the interest from the Red Devils again.

Former UEFA president Platini is currently serving a reduced six-year ban from all football-related activity over a disloyal payment made by then FIFA chief Sepp Blatter in 2011.
